  1. Another part of the theme: if you take the first letter of each of the eight rebuses, it spells out “Star Wars”. Clever…

  2. 32:16, no errors, and I forgot to check those eight letters, so … thank you, JamesG! I also didn’t understand the significance of the word “fourth” until just now. (Feeble excuse: it was late and I was tired when I finished the puzzle last night … 🙂.)

  3. 41:41. Not bad for my first puzzle in several months. 2 errors – I had COLO/OKL(ahoma..made sense to me) instead of COCO/OKC. Had …VAtER rather than …VADER. Not much of a Star Wars person. I saw the very first Star Wars movie one time when it came out, and that was it.

So the plural of Rebus is REBI. And they aren’t all that common on a Sunday, but they aren’t all that rare either.

    Sooo…would this puzzle be a medium-rare REBI??

    Best –

    1. Good to hear from you, Jeff!

And, actually, according to the dictionary, the plural of “rebus” is not “rebi”, but “rebuses”. (I think Bob was indulging in a bit of humor … 🙂.)

  4. I did the syndicated version of this puzzle, meaning I didn’t do it on May 4. It made getting 70A and how it applied to the theme answers a bit tougher. But I finally figured it out (even with an error at the intersection of 1D and 37A). I really struggled with 108D – Screwdriver component. I was thinking of the tool, and couldn’t figure out what word for part of the tool ended in DKA. Duh.

  5. 55 min, no errors.

But I pondered each time I saw the “fouth” letter entry.

Also didn’t the Star Wars spelling. Pretty sharp.
