  1. 22:34, no errors. Did this in the airport around midnight. Had a tough time getting a foothold but finally solved it. Finished in the NW corner. Clever cluing, at least for me.

  2. 21:24, no errors. Ready to toss this one before gaining traction about 2/3s of the way through. Just happy to finish.

  3. No errors.
Ready to give up a couple of times, but had a brain spark and finished.
Got 57 across immediately, but not all that certain that it should have been clued as not English.

  4. 27 min, no errors

Yeah, that might have Sped things along if 57A hinted something other than English.

Otherwise, almost the quickest one of the week for me!!

  5. Glad everyone got this one. It’s always good to get a Friday puzzle. I didn’t care for the clue for 57A either.

  6. I don’t want to be “that guy” but self restraint isn’t as much fun…. The two question marks is a dead giveaway of the foreign language. Sure, it could have been clued as “a simple question in Spanish” but it’s not Monday.

    1. Amen. A clever clue, and one that was totally appropriate for a late-week puzzle. Thanks for posting … 🙂.
